Baby Man Flu

The boy has a cold which I would say is more like Baby Man Flu.

The constant whining, box of kleenex emptying faster then what the toybox does, hot soup on the go , back & forth to the kitchen for supplies.. It sounds so familiar to me.. Oh yeah , I suffered this when the Older man of the house had flu.. Well Man flu.

The whining had made today unbearable , I cant wait for my bedtime! I cant wait til his afternoon nap.. But those 2 hours will no doubtfully be filled with washing & even more washing!

My energy has just disappeared into thin air! When I woke up this morning , I planned walks in the park, Coffee at Costa (juice for Oli) and a trip to the library but so far we've had several hours of Cbeebies.

I blame this weather, it looks so dull out there. I want the snow back just for a hour so it looks all pretty & exciting out there. The weekend can not come quick enough for me!

How's your Tuesday been so far?

  1. Tuesday is good! One off to school and one still asleep! Daddy's off to work, so I have a little peace and quiet!

Sorry the little one's sick. I hate that! Hang in there. Enjoy naptime!

  2. Oh, I feel so sorry for you. I don't like husbands or kids being more needy than they already are! Bad weather. A new town. I feel like we should be neighbors! I'd make you tea!

  3. Awww...baby has the flu? Hope he feels better quick and hope that you get a teeny little peace at naptime.
The last time my hubs & kids had the flu...it seemed easier taking care of the little ones. Big Man Flu=Big Baby Flu! LMAO.
    I'm just saying.

  5. Awwww! Hope Oliver feels better soon!

My hubby is a big baby when he gets sick, too... ;)

I agree - if it would at least snow, it wouldn't look so drab and dreary.

  6. Oh it sounds like your little man and mine have the same thing! I was hoping it was a 24 hour cold, but he woke up with a fever and runny nose again this morning. I guess that means no play time out of the house for us =(
I hope your day turns out okay despite the dreary (same as here) weather!

  8. Icky. Yesterday was a holiday for me, though, so being back at work sucked. I did learn from being home that I'm not a very good housewife. I basically went to the store and did nothing else all day! I think I get more done when I work.

  9. Understood my dear! My boys have been ill off and on most of the winter. It's miserable because you can't go anywhere! I hope your day improves. Forget the washing and take a nap yourself!

  11. Oh no! colds and flu season are the worst. My husband is a big whiner when he has even a sore throat, and i tease him about it-- but i have to confess when I am sick-- i whine just as much. lol

Its kinda dreary over here too... but I definitely do not want the snow back!
